In 1881 Kintaro Hattori started a clock repair business on Toyko, this was the first step in the journey to what is now a big name in the watch making world, Seiko. In 1929 Seiko were the only company to produce railroad watches which were approved by the Japanese Rail Network. Today they have made a big name for themselves for supplying quality and reliability with design, at an affordable price.
